Environmental Youth Speak 2012

Welcome to the Environmental Youth Speak Competition 2012

The competition has been running successfully for over 14 years and is organised by the three NI Waste Management Groups. All twenty-six local Councils participate making Environmental Youth Speak a truly Province-wide event. The competition begins at Council level, progresses to Regional level and culminates in the crowning of two Northern Ireland Champions.

This year’s topics are:

Junior Section (For P6 and P7 pupils)

Shrink your bin…One less bin to landfill

Senior Section (For Yr 8 and Yr 9 pupils)

WEEE* Waste, Big Problem, What can we do?

(*Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment)

All local Council heats are taking place from the week commencing the 20th March 2012
